The upcoming Blue Food Forum, scheduled for September 12-13, 2024, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is poised to be a significant event focusing on the sustainable development of aquatic food value chains.
Organized under the FISH4ACP initiative, the forum aims to highlight best practices and lessons learned in aquatic food systems that contribute to global food security and environmental sustainability.
FISH4ACP is a global initiative driven by the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) to support sustainable fisheries and aquaculture development.
The program is implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations with funding from the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Key Objectives
