Tanzania-Saudi Arabia Trade and Investment Forum: Riyadh, 17th to 21st December 2024

Tanzania and Saudi Arabia are set to strengthen trade and investment ties in Riyadh from December 17-21, 2024. Key sectors include mining, agriculture, gas, and manufacturing, offering new growth opportunities for Tanzanian businesses and Saudi investors.
Tanzania Saudi Investment Forum

The Embassy of Tanzania in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Tanzania Investment Center (TIC), the Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA), and the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) is set to host the Tanzania-Saudi Arabia Trade and Investment Forum from 17th to 21st December 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The event will provide Tanzanian businesses and Saudi investors with a platform to explore and strengthen trade and investment ties between the two nations.

Speaking at the event’s press conference, TIC’s Executive Director, Gilead Teri, highlighted that the forum will open new avenues for trade and investment between Tanzania and Saudi Arabia, with a focus on sectors such as mining, agriculture, gas, oil, manufacturing, transportation, and services.

On his part, TPSF’s Executive Director, Raphael Maganga, noted that Tanzanian business representatives will have the opportunity to explore new markets, showcase investment opportunities, establish business partnerships, and exchange expertise, potentially expanding employment opportunities for Tanzanians.

Juma Nzima, TIC’s Regional Representative for the Middle East, added that the forum will feature presentations from private sector representatives, investor and business meetings, and site visits to investment and production locations across Saudi Arabia.
