Reasons for Investing in the Dodoma Region

Dodoma Region offers several attractive investment opportunities:

Natural Resources: Rich in agricultural potential and minerals, Dodoma provides diverse opportunities in agro-processing and mining.

Strategic Location: Located centrally in Tanzania, Dodoma provides easy access to various regions and neighboring countries via an expanding network of roads and railways.

Regional Socio-Economic Profile

The Dodoma Region is located in the heart of Tanzania and serves as the country’s capital. Covering 41,311 square kilometers, the region is bordered by Manyara, Singida, Iringa, and Morogoro regions. Dodoma Region is one of Tanzania’s 31 administrative regions. The regional capital is the city of Dodoma. According to the 2022 national census, the region had a population of 3,085,625, which is much more than the population in 2023 (2,083,588).
