EAVCA To Host 4th Edition of Private Capital in Tanzania Conference on 24th October 2024 in Dar es Salaam

EAVCA Private Capital Conference Tanzania 2024

The East Africa Venture Capital Association (EAVCA) will host the 4th edition of the Private Capital in Tanzania Conference on Thursday 24th October 2024 at the Coral Beach Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

This year’s conference, themed “Unlocking Potential,” aims to convene industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and key stakeholders to discuss the latest developments, opportunities, and challenges within Tanzania’s private capital landscape.

The event seeks to build upon the growing recognition of Tanzania as an emerging frontier market for private equity investment in East Africa, focusing on strategies to unlock the country’s full economic potential.

EAVCA explains that Tanzania’s strategic location, abundant natural resources, and rapidly growing economy have positioned it as a key player in the regional investment landscape.

The government’s ongoing efforts to advance economic reforms, enhance infrastructure, and improve the overall business climate have contributed to the country’s increasing attractiveness for private equity investors.

The 2024 conference will showcase these developments and provide a collaborative platform for stakeholders to drive further growth in the sector.

The event will feature a comprehensive agenda that includes plenary sessions, fireside discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Participants will have the chance to connect with peers and explore innovative strategies to stimulate private capital growth in Tanzania.
